Although over the years the Festival has grown into quite a large event it has still retained its unique “intimate” atmosphere: You can enjoy a whole week-end of music, song and dance for little more than the price of just a concert! – It’s a Festival to ”get involved in” – where the audience is (at least!) as important as the guests! – It’s where the folk scene meets for its Christmas Party – for a good sing, dance and play, a good story, a good drink, some good company, and a really good time! – It’s the place to be at the end of the Festival season! ….. and it is the UK’s biggest annual winter folk event!
Concerts * Singarounds * Music Sessions * Poetry & Storytelling *
Real Ale Bars * Workshops * Folk Clubs * Meet the Artiste *

Circus of Horrors

Wednesday 11th March   7.30pm

The show that stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and is now a West End smash is back to mark its 20th Anniversary in spectacular style.

The latest incarnation ‘The Night of the Zombie’ is set in a decrepit & corpse ridden London in 2020. The city is plagued by a swamp of Zombies and ruled by the undead.

The story twists and turns with grisly murders and sensational shocks – all interwoven with some of the greatest and most bizarre circus acts on earth, sword swallowers, knife throwers, daredevil balancing acts, astounding aerialists, a demon dwarf, a Guinness World Record holding ‘hairculian’ hair hanging beauty, Sinister Sisters, gyrating & fire limboing acrobats & much more. The performance climaxes in an awesome flaming apocalypse.

Performed by an almighty cast with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek and the devil driven rock n’ roll of Dr Haze & the Interceptors from Hell.
