The Music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

d

The award-winning production Let’s Hang On takes you on a musical journey through the prolific career of one of the most successful bands of all time – Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

From the beginnings in the early 50’s, the show takes you through hits such as Beggin’, Grease, Bye Bye Baby, Sherry, Take My Eyes Off You, December 1963 (Oh What a Night!), Working My Way Back To You, Walk Like A Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry, and many more, climaxing with a spectacular finale with, of course, Let’s Hang On!

Having only last year been invited to the Royal Albert Hall by Frankie Valli himself, we are very proud to have the opportunity to present this recently revamped production which now features brand new sound, lighting and AV screens.

Definitely not a night to be missed!!

Gang Show IMG_7494_1

“Every night of every year, somewhere in the world a Gang Show is playing”.

Gang Show fever has hit again, on a wet Sunday in September the collective acting and singing scouting community of Hinckley gathered to begin the first rehearsal of many, on the long road to the flawless performances that you, the watching public see.

Already fittings have been taken and costumes are being made. Auditions have also taken place to music by both Gary Barlow and the Foo Fighters ‐ what more could you ask for? Singing rehearsals are going well and movement will begin in the next few weeks.

Hinckley Gang Show looks set to be “bigger and better than ever before”.

Spies have already been out sneakily peeking and filtering information, but the cast lists alone will strike awe and wonder into any scout. Just the line‐up of the back row power houses and the promise of traditional meets modern, and the inclusion of some very well‐known wartime tunes, will surely tempt anybody to buy a ticket.

TREORCHY

d

For 130 years the Treorchy Male Choir has been recognised as one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. Early competition victories were followed by regular radio and television broadcasts, feature films and an unequalled number of commercial recordings. The Choir has given several Royal Command Performances, appeared alongside very many international entertainers and undertaken an enviable number of  tours to Canada,  USA, New Zealand and Australia. We hope you enjoy the opportunity to discover more about this legendary Welsh musical institution – and don’t forget that we always keep the warmest of welcomes in the hillsides!
