For one night only, under one roof, you can see NRG Dance bringing their street dance to the masses, local band Strange Rain with their covers of some classic tunes, performances from Tracy Porter School of Dance, Clare’s Dance Ranch and RJ Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art.

The sounds of Brazil are bought by Chilli Bananas Samba Band, as well as entertainment from Hoop Guy – John Parnell, Team Larry and tributes to the King from Gary ‘Elvis’ Shires and Lennon and McCartney in the form of 2 of Us, who also bring you music from the 60s. And not forgetting local folk legend Malc Gurnham, there is something for everyone whilst supporting a local good cause, Anker Radio.

Award-winning vocalist Matthew Ford is widely regarded as the finest big band singer in the UK, broadcasting regularly with the BBC Big Band and the John Wilson Orchestra.
Matthew has built an enviable wealth of experience, performing with the Halle, Philharmonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony, BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras.
As a recording artist Matthew is always in demand for sessions and albums, his recent album ‘Portrait’ airing on BBC and RTE Radio.

Matthew works regularly with acclaimed conductor John Wilson, performing at the 2011 BBC Proms in ‘Hooray For Hollywood’, and subsequently touring the UK with the John Wilson Orchestra, something he repeated in November 2013. Matthew also featured on the hit JWO album ‘THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT!’ recorded at Abbey Rd studios.

In 2012 Matt broadcast twice on ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’, performing with John Barrowman and Lee Mead in tributes to Irving Berlin and Gene Kelly.
2013 saw Matt returning to the Royal Albert Hall for his second BBC Proms appearance (Hollywood Rhapsody), perform at the Aldeburgh and Harrogate Festivals, and make his US debut, performing in Hollywood as featured soloist with the John Wilson Orchestra.
